Tradition-steeped prodigy, rural technologist, Hollywood farm boy. The paradoxes are many for PETE [stringfellow], as his music catalog attests.
Ultimately, his music proves that for PETE, it’s all about music: In Hollywood, he’s an incredibly successful creator of music for film, television and advertising. In Nashville, he’s an experienced writer, musician and producer who has fully integrated the best of Music City into his craft. But most importantly, in his home region of rural Northern California and well beyond, he’s one of the hottest rising talents in country music.
“Music is my life,” Stringfellow says, “but country music is my passion.” A child prodigy and multi-instrumentalist, Pete is a rare fusion of cutting-edge over-achiever and farm-raised embracer of traditional country themes. So when PETE [stringfellow] and his band the Stringtones™ bring their unique blend to a headlining performance or open for a country superstar, fans can be sure they’ll enjoy a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. “I respect country music’s traditions,” the Santa Rosa, CA native says. “Especially the diversity you hear in it. That’s why it’s so much fun to write, sing, record and perform music people instantly recognize as country, even though it’s got a bit of a twist to it.”
